Before and After

 As I reflect back on my very first writing assignment I realized that my writing skills were not a great as I thought they were. I began to find better ways to construct my writing process and over time I took notice of how I began to progress in that area. I can say that I'm not as perfect as I should be but I have gotten better at it over the past few months. I think I have enough knowledge to prepare me to make my corrections for my portfolio this December. *cross fingers*

My Writing Process

Before this EN001 I never really had a writing process! I was the type of person that jumped right in and starting typing/writing on a computer or a piece of paper. Which doesn't seem to work for this class lol. So over the past few months I've taken the time to attempt on perfecting my writing skills. Some of the things I do before I write my essay would be to 1. pick a topic 2. gather information 3. outline(which is something new to me) 3. began to form essay on paper 4. proofread  and 5. print and revise until I feel its strong enough to turn in. Sometimes what I see as strong enough doesn't not meet standards of the teachers. But hey it worth a try"RIGHT?" Not everyone can be perfect on their first try.
